PRESSURE ON THE BUCCANEERS
The pressure is on the defending champions Orlando Pirates to defend their crown. They claimed a 2-0 victory in their first encounter against this Milford side. But the visitors have proven no pushovers, suffering just two defeats in their first nine league matches.
The newly promoted Stallions have been the surprise package of the season. They currently occupying fourth spot in the Betway Premiership table. They arrive in Soweto on the back of a four-match unbeaten streak.
Milford FC famously knocked out Soweto giants Kaizer Chiefs in the Nedbank Cup during their lower-division days in 2024. They possess a proven pedigree for orchestrating major cup upsets.
