Siwelele FC are linked with a move to acquire the services of another Mamelodi Sundowns goalkeeper Jody February.
February has struggled for game time at Sundowns since his return from various loan spells, including at the now defunct Moroka Swallows and AmaZulu.
The return of Ricardo Goss from a two-season loan spells with Siwelele has pushed February even further down the pecking order.
And as reported on The South African last week, Sundowns and February’s agency are locked in negotiations for the goalkeeper to move.
According to UnplayableZA, Siwelele have shown interest in the 30-year-old in an effort to bolster their goalkeeping department.
As things stand, Sundowns have Ronwen Williams, Goss, Denis Onyango and Reyaad Pieterse, leaving February in no position to play.
February has featured just eight times for the Brazilians since his arrival from Ajax Cape Town (now known as Cape Town Spurs) in 2019.
