WWE superstar Drew McIntyre has surprised many South African football fans after sporting a Kaizer Chiefs jersey in a video shared on social media.
The 41-year-old Scottish wrestler posted a video of himself wearing the Amakhosi kit while bench-pressing weights. The clip, which has attracted hundreds of thousands of views, was accompanied by a simple caption: “Amakhosi.”
McIntyre, famously known as The Scottish Psychopath, is a four-time WWE Champion and is also a well-known football fan.
The wrestling superstar has been away from WWE television following WrestleMania 42, with reports indicating that he has been exploring opportunities in the acting and entertainment industry.
His Hollywood projects include The Last Druid, starring Russell Crowe, and Agent of Shadows. He has also spent time abroad, including in Spain, focusing on projects outside professional wrestling.

Although his absence has raised questions about his WWE future, McIntyre has indicated that he intends to eventually return to the wrestling ring.
His latest social media post, however, has got Kaizer Chiefs supporters talking, claiming the former WWE champion may be a Khosi fan.
It remains to be seen whether McIntyre is genuinely an Amakhosi supporter or simply appreciates the club’s famous jersey. Either way, his choice of kit has certainly caught the attention of South African football fans.
