Kaizer Chiefs could face a major transfer decision after CAF Champions League 2025/26 finalists AS FAR reportedly submitted a substantial offer for attacker Glody Lilepo.
The Moroccan giants are understood to have identified the Democratic Republic of Congo international and Kaizer Chiefs attacker as a key transfer target ahead of the new season.
REPORT: AS FAR MAKE BIG OFFER FOR KAIZER CHIEFS ATTACKER
AS FAR have reportedly approached Kaizer Chiefs over a potential deal for Lilepo.
“There is a serious offer from Morocco, with AS FAR keen to have him on their books,” Soccer Laduma reported.
The report adds that the proposed fee is significant enough for Amakhosi to consider. Despite the club’s initial reluctance to lose one of their attacking players.
“Contact has already been made with Chiefs and, although they have appeared reluctant to entertain the move, the offer is a very good one. It won’t be an easy decision if discussions continue,” they stated.
At the time of publication, Amakhosi have not confirmed an agreement with AS FAR, suggesting discussions may continue over the coming weeks.
“The talks are expected to continue over the coming weeks,” the report added.
Kaizer Chiefs are currently focused on their pre-season tour of Spain. Consequently, a final decision on Lilepo’s future is reportedly unlikely until the club returns.
“Chiefs are focused on pre-season at the moment, so any final decision is likely to be made at a later stage,” they concluded.

Tashreeq Morris is reportedly close to joining Durban City although the move has not yet been officially confirmed at the time of publishing.
