THREE players likely to be BENCHED for new signings

Posted on August 6, 2025

Orlando Pirates new signings are set to shake up the pecking order at Mayfair.

Orlando Pirates have signed 12 new players under Abdeslam Ouaddou.

So, which of these players are likely to start and who will they be replacing in the starting line-up?

NEW SIGNINGS TO SHAKE UP THE PIRATES PECKING ORDER

Of the new 12 Bucs signings, these THREE new Pirates stars are likely to start regularly under Ouaddou.

Meanwhile, these SEVEN Bucs stars are likely going to be rotated during the 2025/26 season. Whilst, Tshepang Moremi and Sinoxolo Kwayiba will be given a fair chance to stake their claim.

After all, they are both capped Bafana Bafana stars.

PIRATES PLAYERS STARTING SPOTS UNDER THREAT

Midfielders, Mkhehleni Makhaula, Kabelo Dlamini, Karim Kimvuidi, Thalente Mbatha and Salaelo Rasebotja are all set to face stiff competition from Mbule and Nduli.

Meaning, there startings spots (Makhuala and Mbatha) are under threat and they could be dropped to the bench. Furthermore, Dlamini, Kimvuidi and Rasebotja could find themselves pushed further down the pecking order.

Meanwhile, on attack, Appollis is set to feature prominently up front. He will slot in for Mohau Nkota (Al-Ittifaq) and Monnapule Saleng (loan to Orbit College) have both left Mayfair.
