However, the Glamour Boys have already turned Khanyisa Mayo’s loan move into a permanent one, meaning their rumoured pursuit of Mabasa makes little to no sense. Now unattached, 29-year-old Mabasa would be available for free, but is still valued at a handsome R24 million by transfermarkt. That seems fair, given his proven goal-scoring record. Mabasa was the PSL Golden Boot winner in 2023-24 with 16 goals over stints with Pirates and Swallows.
