Mamelodi Sundowns kick off their 2026/27 Betway Premiership campaign against Marumo Gallants on Saturday, 1 August. Miguel Cardoso’s side will welcome their opponents to Loftus Versfeld Stadium as they begin another title challenge.
Last season, Sundowns finished one point behind champions Orlando Pirates, ending the club’s remarkable run of eight consecutive Betway Premiership titles. However, the Kabo Yellows still celebrated a memorable campaign after lifting the CAF Champions League trophy.
Thereafter, Sundowns travel to face TS Galaxy on Tuesday, 11 August before taking on Kaizer Chiefs away from home four days later.
Next, the Brazilians return to Loftus Versfeld Stadium to host AmaZulu FC on Wednesday, 26 August. They then welcome newly promoted Milford FC on Wednesday, 2 September to complete their opening five league fixtures.
The Premier Soccer League has yet to confirm the venues and kick-off times for four of the five matches.
