Sekhukhune United have confirmed the departure of six players, including former Orlando Pirates midfielder Thabang Monare and ex-Mamelodi Sundowns defender Rivaldo Coetzee.

The Limpopo-based club announced that it will not renew the contracts of the six players as preparations continue for the 2026/27 season.

SEKHUKHUNE UNITED CONFIRM SIX EXITS

In an official statement, Sekhukhune United revealed that the following players will leave the club:

  • Bradley Grobler
  • Thabang Monare
  • Sikhosonke Langa
  • Katlego Mohamme
  • Ryan Baartman
  • Rivaldo Coetzee

The club thanked the departing players for their service and wished them well in the next chapter of their careers.

Among the most notable names on the list is Monare, who enjoyed a successful spell with Orlando Pirates before joining Sekhukhune United.

Coetzee also headlines the departures after previously representing Mamelodi Sundowns, where he won multiple trophies and established himself as one of the most experienced defenders in South African football.

Veteran striker Grobler, meanwhile, leaves after adding further experience to the Sekhukhune United squad.
