Pitso Mosimane has officially launched the Youth Football Coaching Manual, a landmark publication designed to improve the standard of youth coaching and player development across South Africa.
The highly decorated coach said the book shifts the focus away from professional football and towards building stronger foundations for the next generation of players.

Launching the manual, Mosimane said South Africa is not short of talented footballers but needs to improve how young players are developed.
“South African football doesn’t have a talent problem. It has a development challenge. We have gifted young players in every community across this country. The question is whether we’re providing them with the coaching, support and environment they need to fulfil their potential,” said Mosimane.
The manual aims to provide coaches with practical guidance on developing technically and tactically complete footballers from grassroots level.

Throughout his coaching career, Mosimane has repeatedly stressed the importance of investing in youth development to secure the future of South African football.
