Many football fans want the MTN8 final between Orlando Pirates and Mamelodi Sundowns to be played at a venue other than Moses Mabhida Stadium.
The Buccaneers and Sundowns will meet in the MTN8 final on 10 October after both teams booked their places in the showpiece this weekend.
Pirates comfortably overcame Sekhukhune United 4-0 on aggregate, while Sundowns progressed against Golden Arrows after their semi-final ended 3-3 on aggregate, with the Brazilians advancing on the away-goals rule.
While the fixture is already being labelled a dream final, supporters have now turned their attention to where it should be played.
Moses Mabhida Stadium has hosted several major cup finals in recent years, and some fans believe it is time for the PSL to take the MTN8 final to another part of the country.
With both Pirates and Sundowns based in Gauteng, FNB Stadium has emerged as one of the most popular suggestions. Supporters believe the venue would provide a more convenient and neutral setting while allowing fans from both clubs to attend in large numbers.
Mbombela Stadium and Peter Mokaba Stadium have also been mentioned as possible alternatives.
The PSL has not yet announced the venue for the 10 October final.

One fan, @kanyane23, wrote: “Dear PSL. Please don’t overthink this thing, take this final to FNB Stadium. Let the people of Gauteng witness their teams live in a cup final for a change.”
@Epicurus_H said: “I wouldn’t be surprised if Durban or Mbombela host it. If I’m not mistaken those municipalities usually cover all costs such as hotel and flights for the players.”
Another supporter, @Nkosi_nathi17, added: “We are tired of the Moses Mabhida and Mbombela final man.”
@mokonemapoma2 questioned the repeated choice of Durban, writing: “Moses Mabhida the only province that is guaranteed to host MTN8 final alone kanti?”
With Pirates and Sundowns set for what promises to be a blockbuster MTN8 final, fans will now wait to see whether the PSL sticks with a familiar venue or takes the showpiece somewhere new.
