The 2007-born attacker has joined Orlando Pirates on a two-year DStv Diski Challenge (DDC) contract, according to reports from the leading football development reporter Football Stage.
Duiker, who attends Gaopalelwe Secondary School, was spotted after standout performances at the 2026 Under-19 Pirates Cup, a tournament that has become one of the club’s key scouting grounds.
The 19-year-old will, however, only link up with the Buccaneers full-time after completing his matric.

Born in Bloemhof, the same town as Monnapule Saleng, Duiker is winger is known for his quick feet, direct running, and ability to take on defenders in one-v-one situations.
The Pirates Cup has already proven to be a goldmine for Orlando Pirates. It was where Relebohile Mofokeng was identified while representing the School of Excellence.
THE MAN BEHIND THE ACADEMY: MOTHIBI’S PIRATES CONNECTION
Duiker’s move also brings attention to the man behind his development. James Mothibi, a former Orlando Pirates player who once featured for the Buccaneers during a two-year spell.
During his time at the club, Mothibi was part of a talented squad that included iconic names such as Gift Leremi, Joseph Makhanya, and Jimmy Tau. He also gained valuable continental experience, representing Orlando Pirates in the CAF Champions League against top opposition from across Africa.
After leaving the Soweto giants, he went on to play for Maritzburg United and Mpumalanga Black Aces. Before eventually retiring from professional football.
Following his playing career, Mothibi shifted his focus to grassroots development, founding the James Mothibi Sports Development Academy in Kuruman. His work in the Northern Cape has played a key role in identifying young talent for professional setups. With several player, including Duiker, recommended directly into the Orlando Pirates youth structures.
