You know you must be good when you draw interest from Orlando Pirates, Kaizer Chiefs and Mamelodi Sundowns!
Talented 27-year-old Polokwane City right-back Thabang Matuludi has reportedly drawn interest form the PSL’s ‘Big Three’ – Orlando Pirates, Kaizer Chiefs and Mamelodi Sundowns.
The talented Rise and Shine Bafana Bafana star is hot property in the PSL right now.
KAIZER CHIEFS SHOW INITIAL EARLY INTEREST
According to Goal, Amakhosi were the first club to show interest in Matuludi.
“Kaizer Chiefs were reportedly the first club to express an interest in the Rise and Shine star,” they reported, although there has been no confirmed interest in the player from Kaizer Chiefs nor his agent.
Thereafter, the Bucs and The Brazilians both joined the race.
‘Orlando Pirates and Mamelodi Sundowns have since followed suit, with both said to be keeping close tabs on the Bafana defender ahead of the new campaign,” they added.
If these reports are true, Matuludi will have plenty of options.
However, at the time of publicatiom there has been no confirmed interest from the player’s agent or representatives of any of the aforementioned clubs.
The Bafana Bafana star is valued at over R22 million, according to Transfermarkt.
MATULUDI RESPONDS TO LINKS
Matuludi did not deny the links nor dismiss the possibility of joining any of these clubs.
In fact, Matuludi just acknowledged the links and was not suprised. This speaks volumes for his confidence as a player.
“There is no way I can be surprised. Obviously, when you are playing week in and week out, there will always be talks,” Matuludi told FARPost.
However, when asked about his next move he did confirm that he is currently still at Polokwane City – for now.
“That one we will see. I can’t talk about that. I am here for now,” he stated.
It remains to be seen whether he will join Orlando Pirates, Kaizer Chiefs or Mamelodi Sundowns. The talented right-back offers speed, power and vision. At just 27, he is in his prime and has many more years and seasons in him.
He has a lot to offer Polokwane City and any propsective clubs.
