Orlando Pirates: Full list of departures

Orlando Pirates have released a plethora of talent.

Orlando Pirates continue to make massive changes to their playing personnel.

To date, Pirates have signed 11 players. Therefore, Kaizer Chiefs and Orlando Pirates have over 20 new players locked and loaded for the 2025/26 season.

Goodman Mosele (Chippa United)

All NINE departures have been announced by Pirates.

However, the tenth will be announced soon.

Mosele is on his way to Chippa United. So, the former Bafana Bafana midfielder will be returning to Chippa on loan.

“He’s not the only one from Pirates that will be loaned to Chippa, but I can tell you for sure that Goodman has been shipped to Chippa. I’m not sure what this means for his future going forward if he does well, because at 25, age is still on his side,” the report read on Phakaaati.

MORE DEPARTURES IMMINENT

Despite releasing almost a full team of players, Pirates are not done with trimming their squad.

So, as mentioned, one or two more players will be loaned to Chippa.

Siphelo Baloni, Katlego Otladisa and ‘Gilberto’, aka, Deivi Miguel Vieira are all facing probably departures out of Mayfair. Meanwhile, recent reports claim that Pirates superstar Relebohile Mofokeng.

“Relebohile Mofokeng, the South African Orlando Pirates player, is set to move to Al-Ettifaq after the two clubs agreed on terms,” KickOff reported.

However, these reports have not been confirmed as yet. Furthermore, they are believed to have tabled an offer of over R31-million, according to the same publication.
