Kaizer Chiefs have announced the signing of former Mamelodi Sundowns attacker Lebohang Maboe.

Maboe, 30, becomes Amakhosi’s 10th acquisition of the season and returns to his boyhood club having come through the club’s academy.

The former Maritzburg man has been without a club since parting ways with the Chloorkop-based outfit at the end of last month upon his contract expiration having been loan at now defunct SuperSport United.

The Glamour Boys announced the signing of Maboe on Tuesday afternoon on the eve of their much-anticipated Betway Premiership encounter against Masandawana at FNB Stadium on Wednesday evening.
