List of transfer window players linked

Posted on January 6, 2026

Kaizer Chiefs have reportedly lined up a couple of ‘interesting’ targets for this January transfer window, including players from PSL rivals Orlando Pirates and Mamelodi Sundowns.

Additionally, there are some foreign players on Amakhosi’s radar too.

Let’s take a look at some of the players linked with Amakhosi.

PLAYERS LINKED WITH KAIZER CHIEFS

  • Steven Mukwala
  • Tshegofatso Mabasa
  • Thapelo Maseko

Kaizer Chiefs are are said to be closely monitoring Ugandan striker, Steven Mukwala.

“In a bid to sharpen their striking department even more, Kaizer Chiefs are understood to have added Ugandan striker Steven Mukwala to their transfer wishlist,” The Citizen reported.

“The Naturena giants are still interested in the Simba SC star,” the report added.

ORLANDO PIRATES AND MAMELODI SUNDOWNS STARS CHIEFS COULD SIGN

Orlanso Pirates striker Tshegofatso Mabasa and Mamelodi Sundowns forward Thapelo Maseko have both been heavily linked with Amakhosi.

Mabasa is facing a probable departure out of Mayfair. Reports doing the rounds have strongly linked the Bucs striker with a move to Naturena.

Meanwhile, Maseka is set for a loan move out of Chloorkop. Several teams have lined up offers for the skilful young attacker.

If Kaizer Chiefs opt to revisit interest in their former transfer target, then this is a golden chance to lure him to Naturena.

Considering Tashreeq Morris is likely to be loaned out this transfer window, a striker spot will open up at Kaizer Chiefs.

Kaizer Chiefs fans, if you could sign ONE player this transfer window, who would it be?
