Kaizer Chiefs’ pre-season plans in Spain appear to have been revealed. The Pinatar Arena published a list of friendly fixtures for clubs training at the facility this month.
The schedule, shared by the Murcia-based venue, includes two matches involving Amakhosi as the Betway Premiership giants continue preparations for the new season under Fernando da Cruz.
KAIZER CHIEFS FRIENDLIES SPOTTED
According to the fixture list posted by Pinatar Arena, the Glamour Boys are scheduled to play:
- 15 July (11:00) – Kaizer Chiefs vs Al Kholood (Saudi Arabia) – Free entry
- 18 July (19:00) – Kaizer Chiefs vs Elche CF (Spain) – Tickets on sale
The fixture list has not yet been officially confirmed by the club, but it was published by the venue hosting several clubs for their summer training camps.
A meeting with Al Kholood will give Amakhosi the chance to test themselves against opposition from the Saudi Pro League, before taking on Spanish side Elche CF three days later.

RETURN TO EUROPE
The upcoming camp continues Amakhosi’s growing tradition of holding pre-season preparations in Europe.
Ahead of the 2024/25 campaign, the club travelled to Turkey for their pre-season camp. Last season it was in the Netherlands.
This year, Spain becomes the latest destination as Fernando da Cruz looks to fine-tune his squad before the start of the new Betway Premiership campaign.
Supporters will now be waiting to see whether the Soweto giants officially announce the two friendlies as preparations for the new season gather pace.
