Kaizer Chiefs have continued their squad overhaul, parting ways with nearly 10 players since the transfer window opened.
With five new signings already confirmed, Amakhosi have made several difficult decisions as head coach Fernando Da Cruz reshapes the squad ahead of the new season.
The changes appear to be paying off. Chiefs looked sharp throughout pre-season before carrying that momentum into their opening Betway Premiership fixture, where they claimed an impressive 3-1 victory over Kruger United.

Defender Given Msimango became the latest player to leave the club after his departure was confirmed over the weekend, with Ashley du Preez also expected to complete his exit in the coming days.
Young defender Aden McCarthy was sold to Azerbaijani club Turan Tovuz earlier in the transfer window, while uncertainty remains over the future of Congolese winger Glody Lilepo, who continues to be linked with a move away from Naturena.
Kaizer Chiefs completed the signing of highly rated winger Langelihle Phili on Monday, taking their tally of new arrivals to five. The former Stellenbosch FC star could make his competitive debut for Amakhosi when they face Golden Arrows in this weekend’s MTN8 quarter-final.
