Kaizer Chiefs secured a clinical 4-1 victory over Magesi FC at the New Peter Mokaba Stadium on Wednesday night, marking their fifth consecutive win in the Betway Premiership.
Amakhosi came into the match full of confidence and showed it from the first whistle, controlling the tempo and asking questions of the home side early on.
This clinical performance moves the Glamour Boys up to 3rd place in the Betway Premiership standings, bringing their total to 45 points as they solidify their push for a CAF Champions League spot.
KAIZER CHIEFS TAKE CONTROL BEFORE THE BREAK
Chiefs’ attacking intent paid off in the first half as they took control of the match with two well-timed goals.
Flavio Silva opened the scoring in the 33rd minute, continuing his good form in front of goal, before Wandile Duba added a second just before halftime to give the visitors a comfortable 2-0 lead at the break.
The movement in attack and quick build-up play made it difficult for Magesi to settle into the game.

AMAKHOSI FINISH THE JOB IN SECOND HALF
Magesi looked to respond after the break, but Chiefs remained organised and disciplined at the back.
The visitors continued to create chances, and their attacking depth showed as the game opened up. Khanyisa Mayo added another goal late on, with Reeve Frosler providing his second assist of the match.
Magesi did manage to pull one back through Diteboho Mofokeng, but it had little impact on the overall outcome as Chiefs stayed in control.

This victory marks a remarkable turnaround for Nasreddine Nabi’s men, recording their fifth win on the bounce. Their recent run of form includes:
