
Kaizer Chiefs are continuing with changes behind the scenes following the end of a difficult but eventful campaign, with goalkeeper coach Ilyes Mzoughi becoming the latest figure to part ways with the club.
The 51-year-old Tunisian confirmed his departure through an emotional farewell message after spending time working with the Amakhosi goalkeepers at Naturena.

EMOTIONAL GOODBYE MESSAGE
Mzoughi worked closely with Brandon Petersen, Bruce Bvuma, and Fiacre Ntwari during his spell at the club, with Kaizer Chiefs trying to stabilise a goalkeeping department that came under pressure at different points of the season.
“Today, I say goodbye with a heart full of gratitude and pride. It has been a great honour and privilege to be part of this big club and this beautiful family.

“Wearing the Kaizer Chiefs badge and working every day for this institution was something very special for me,” he said on his Instagram page.
The departing goalkeeper coach took time to thank almost every corner of the club, from management to supporters, while also speaking directly to the goalkeepers he worked with on a daily basis.
The former goalkeeper coach also thanked the wider technical team and the supporters who stood behind him throughout his stay.
“I want to thank the management, technical staff, players, and especially the supporters for the love, respect, and support you gave me during my journey at the club. I will always be grateful for the moments we shared together.”
PRAISE FOR KAIZER CHIEFS GOALKEEPERS
Mzoughi reserved special praise for the goalkeepers he worked with, highlighting their commitment at training and backing them to have bright futures in the game.
“To the goalkeepers, thank you for your trust, hard work, and commitment every single day. I am proud of your progress, and I truly believe the future is bright for all of you,” he stated.
“Even if my journey with Kaizer Chiefs comes to an end today, this club will always remain in my heart. I leave with beautiful memories, valuable experiences, and great respect for everyone at the club. Thank you, Amakhosi! I wish the club nothing but success, trophies, and happiness in the future.”
