Orlando Pirates head coach Abdeslam Ouaddou has responded to a question around Sebastian Pedersen‘s availability this weekend.
The Betway Premiership champions begin their title defence at home against rookies Milford FC on Saturday.
Kick-off at Orlando Amstel Arena is at 15:00.
Now, having added no fewer than nine new players to their roster, Ouaddou has an some decisions to make as to who starts and who sits on the bench.
And one player Pirates fans are eager to see in action is none other than Pedersen who was unveiled earlier this week.
With 21 goals in 45 matches, the man dubbed ‘Baby Halaand’ by fans, will be expected to take the PSL by storm.
However, according to Ouaddou, Pirates fans need to be patient as the striker is not avaliable for the match against Milford.
Ouaddou doesn’t even think Pedersen is in the country yet, adding that the delay may have something to do with administration.

“I don’t think that he is in the country yet. Of course, when you sign a player, there are a lot of administrative issues,” Ouaddou told reporters.
“But hopefully he will come soon and be with us. But I am sure that he will not be part of the opening game,” he concluded.
WHO WILL LEAD THE BUCS ATTACK?
Ouaddou is likely to stick to the tried and test in what is certainly a very important game to avoid a repeat of last season where they lost their opening two matches.
Evidence Makgopa is likely to lead the attack with Yanela Mbuthuma and Andre de Jong likely to be introduced in the second half.
Makgopa contributed seven goals and four assists in 31 matches for the Buccaneers last season.
Mbuthuma, on the other, had a better season despite being a new player coupled with huge criticism from a section of Pirates fans.
The 24-year-old netted eight goals, including five in the league, in 32 matches and provided three assists last term.
