Stellenbosch FC have confirmed a significant squad reshuffle ahead of the new season, announcing the departure of 13 players as the club begins preparations for the upcoming campaign.
The Winelands outfit revealed that several senior players, loanees and squad members will be leaving the club, while one player has retired and another completed a permanent transfer.
Notable exits
Among the notable exits is goalkeeper Oscarine Masuluke, while veteran shot-stopper Lee Langeveldt has officially retired from professional football.
Defenders Dejean Ah Shene, Thabo Moloisane, Athenkosi Mcaba and Wayde Jooste have also departed, alongside midfielder Khomotjo Lekoloane and striker Kazie Enyinnaya.
Moloisane has joined Soweto giants Kaizer Chiefs.
Nigerian defender Olisa Ndah is another high-profile name to leave the club.
Three loan players – Tshegofatso Mabasa, Kobamelo Kodisang and Asekho Tiwani – have all returned to their parent clubs following the expiry of their loan spells.
Meanwhile, Kyle Jurgens has completed a permanent move to Durban City.
Missed out on MTN8
The departures come shortly after head coach Gavin Hunt committed his future to the club by signing a new two-year contract.
Stellenbosch FC finished ninth in the 2025/26 Betway Premiership season, narrowly missing out on a coveted MTN8 spot next season.
