Orlando Pirates have confirmed that supporters will be able to watch the club’s first pre-season friendly live from Spain when they face Córdoba CF on Wednesday evening.
The match will take place at the Marbella Football Center, with kick-off scheduled for 19:00 (SA time).
It forms part of Pirates’ preparations for the 2026/27 season, where they will defend their Betway Premiership, MTN8 and Carling Knockout titles while returning to the CAF Champions League.

The Buccaneers confirmed that the match will be available to supporters across the world through the club’s official platforms.
“The pre-season fixture between Orlando Pirates and Cordoba kicks off at 19:00 (SAST) and can be streamed live on Pirates TV on YouTube,” the champions said.
“You can also follow the action by keeping an eye on updates posted across the club’s official social media channels.”
This will be the first opportunity for supporters to see new head coach Abdeslam Ouaddou and several new signings in action during the Spain training camp.

- Aphiwe Baliti – Left wing-back signed from Siwelele FC, before immediately returning on loan for the 2026/27 season.

Pre-season friendlies are designed to build fitness, improve tactical understanding and help coaches assess player combinations before competitive football resumes.
