Al Hilal Omdurman have completed the signing of midfielder Aprocious Petrus from Cape Town City ahead of the new season.
Petrus, 25, has been one of the revelations of Namibian talent in the Premier Soccer League since joining City from FC Liria in March 2024, featuring in several positions for the club.
Comfortable in midfield, letf-back or central defence, the Brave Warriors talent amassed 38 appearances for the club before their recent relegation to the second-tier.
Hilal have acted swiftly to secure Petrus, while they are also seemingly keen on another City player, Nathan Idumba Fasika, as they look to bolster their squad for the upcoming CAF Champions League campaign.
Petrus has signed a four-year deal with the Sudanese giants, who won the Mauritanian Premier League title – the league they competed in last season due to the ongoing political instability in Sudan.
