Chiefs to Take Part in Mangosuthu Legacy Cup

Kaizer Chiefs will be one of four clubs participating in the 2025 Prince Mangosuthu Legacy Cup in Ulundi next month.

The competition is usually contested by clubs from the KwaZulu-Natal clubs. This will be the first time that Amakhosi feature, with the tournament taking place on 11 October during the FIFA break.

Ulundi hosted the tournament’s launch on Wednesday, which included the official draw.

The tournament will consist of two semi-finals and a final, all to be played in the afternoon. At 09:00 am, AmaZulu will take on last season’s champions, Njampela FC, an ABC Motsepe team from KZN.

The second semi-final will see Chiefs go head-to-head with Eswatini club Nsingizini Hotspurs at 12:00. The winners of both matches will advance to the final, which is scheduled for 16:00.
