Bafana Bafana are through to the semi-finals of the Cosafa Cup following their 2-1 win over Eswatini

Posted on July 11, 2023

Bafana Bafana are through to the semi-finals of the Cosafa Cup following their 2-1 win over Eswatini at Princess Magogo Stadium on Tuesday.

Morena Ramoreboli’s charges had to come from behind after being given a scare by Eswatini after Owa Matsebula had opened the scoring in the 51st minute.

The Bafana Bafana coach was decisive enough to ring the changes after going 1-0 behind, and he introduced the likes of Tshegofatso Mabasa to add firepower upfront.

The move worked wonders as Mabasa equalised for Bafana Bafana in the 76th minute before scoring the winner two minutes from time.
