Orlando Pirates fans can choose from six players for the club’s August Player of the Month award.
The Buccaneers opened voting after a strong start to the 2026/27 season.
Orlando Pirates confirmed that Oswin Appollis, Sipho Chaine, Tshepang Moremi, Gamphani Lungu, Lebone Seema and Thapelo Mokobodi made the shortlist.
Six Pirates players in the running
Appollis scored twice during the opening stages of the season and created several chances for his teammates.
Goalkeeper Chaine kept five clean sheets in his first seven appearances.
Moremi scored two goals and added an assist in four appearances.
He also created nine chances.
Lungu made an immediate impact after joining Pirates, scoring three goals and providing an assist in six appearances.
Seema added strength at the back and also contributed a goal and an assist.
Mokobodi impressed in midfield and scored his first goal for the club.
Pirates make strong start
Pirates collected 10 points from their first four Betway Premiership matches.
They also reached another MTN8 final after beating Sekhukhune United 4-0 on aggregate in the semi-finals.
Fans can vote on the Orlando Pirates website for their preferred player.
