JODY FEBRUARY SET TO LEAVE SUNDOWNS FOR SIWELELE MOVE
February’s representative Mike Makaab of ProSport International has confirmed that negotiations are at an advanced stage.
The Strandfontein-born star is expected to complete his move shortly after requesting a temporary exit from Sundowns in search of regular football.

The return of Ricardo Goss to Chloorkop has increased competition for places in the goalkeeping department. Ronwen Williams remains the first-choice goalkeeper, while veteran Denis Onyango also provides experience.
February has struggled to establish himself as a regular starter since joining Sundowns. He has made only eight senior appearances for the reigning Betway Premiership champions.
The latest loan move should give him an opportunity to play consistently and regain momentum.
SIWELELE FC OFFER FEBRUARY FRESH START
February started his professional career at Ajax Cape Town, now known as Cape Town Spurs, before earning a move to Sundowns in 2019.
He also represented the South Africa U23 national team during the early stages of his career. However, regular first-team opportunities have remained difficult to secure at Chloorkop.
The goalkeeper has previously spent time away from Sundowns at Cape Umoya United, Moroka Swallows and AmaZulu.
At Siwelele, February will also face competition from the club’s new goalkeeper signing Phoko Goitseone, who joined from Botswana.
The arrival of the two goalkeepers should give Siwelele strong competition for the starting position during the new Betway Premiership season.
February’s latest move could prove important for his career as he searches for consistent first-team football. With his experience at Sundowns and previous loan spells, he will hope to establish himself as a regular starter in Bloemfontein.
