Sundowns have made Ntsabeleng their third new signing. He follows after the deals of Antonio Van Wyk and Siyanda Ndlovu. Known as“Tsiki,” Ntsabeleng makes the move from Major League Soccer (MLS) side FC Dallas.
The CAF Champions League holders confirmed the deal on social media with the message: “TSIKI REMAINS YELLOW. Katlego Ntsabeleng has made his move permanent and will continue his journey in Yellow.“

The 28-year-old spent the 2025/26 season on loan at Sundowns before the club activated the purchase option in his contract. Ntsabeleng impressed during his spell at Chloorkop, making 14 appearances in all competitions while contributing two goals and one assist.
The energetic midfielder added creativity and versatility to the squad as Sundowns continued to challenge for domestic honours and the CAF Champions League.
His permanent move also marks a homecoming.
Before moving to the United States, Ntsabeleng came through the Sundowns youth structures and represented the club’s reserve team before continuing his development abroad.
Sundowns another boost ahead of the new campaign. Ntsabeleng offers a different profile in attacking midfielder from Nuno Santos, Arthur Sales, Themba Zwane.
MTN8 AGAINST POLOKWANE CITY
Meanwhile, Sundowns begin their 2026/27 campaign against Polokwane City in the MTN8 quarter-finals on Saturday, 8 August 2026, at Lucas Moripe Stadium. Kick Off is set for 18:00.
The match will be Kabo Yellow’s first competitive fixture of the season after their opening Betway Premiership encounter was postponed.
The African champions will be aiming to lift the MTN8 trophy for the first time since 2021. However, head coach Miguel Cardoso will be without suspended striker Brayan León.
Despite his absence, Sundowns still boast plenty of quality, with midfielders Marcelo Allende and Nuno Santos expected to play key roles in controlling the game.
Polokwane, meanwhile, travel to Tshwane in confident mood after opening their Betway Premiership campaign with a 2-1 victory over Richards Bay.
The Rise and Shine outfit will be hoping to build on that result and spring an upset against the African giants.
