Ranga Chivaviro to Depart Kaizer Chiefs at Season’s End

Posted on May 27, 2025

Kaizer Chiefs have confirmed that striker Ranga Chivaviro will leave the club when his contract expires at the end of June.

The 31-year-old forward is among several players Amakhosi plan to release as they restructure their squad ahead of the new season. Chivaviro joined Chiefs at the beginning of the 2023/24 campaign but struggled to secure regular playing time.

While the club has not yet released an official statement, sources indicate Chiefs are looking to refresh their attacking options after a disappointing season. The Soweto giants are expected to announce more departures in coming weeks as they rebuild under coach Nasreddine Nabi’s anticipated leadership.

Chivaviro’s next destination remains unclear, though several DStv Premiership clubs are reportedly monitoring the former Marumo Gallants striker’s situation.
