Orlando Pirates continue their European tour with their third of five pre-season friendlies at the Marbella Football Center. Kick-off is scheduled for 19:00.
After a 1-1 draw against Córdoba CF and a 2-1 comeback win over Cádiz CF, head coach Abdeslam Ouaddou has named a strong team. New signings have been dropped for last season’s regulars.
ORLANDO PIRATES CONFIRM STARTING XI
The Buccaneers will start with Sipho Chaine, Nkosinathi Sibisi (C), Lebone Seema, Nkosikhona Ndaba, Deano Van Rooyen, Sihle Nduli, Thalente Mbatha, Patrick Maswanganyi, Oswin Appollis, Tshepang Moremi and Evidence Makgopa.
The substitutes are Siyabonga Dladla (GK), Tapelo Xoki, Sbangani Zulu, Deon Hotto, Kamohelo Sebelebele, Simphiwe Selepe, Abdoulaye Mariko, Simphiwe Masilela, Bohlale Ngwato, Mpho Padime and Yanela Mbuthuma.

TOUGH PRE-SEASON TEST
The Al-Ittihad clash is sure to be Orlando Pirates’ biggest challenge of the pre-season. The Saudi giants will provide another stern examination of Ouaddou’s tactical approach and squad depth as preparations for the new Betway Premiership campaign continue.
With the Betway Premiership opener against Kruger United fast approaching, Orlando Pirates are shifting their focus from experimentation to building chemistry within what they believe will be their strongest team.
A positive result against Al-Ittihad would provide another confidence boost before the new season gets underway.
