Pyramids FC forward Fiston Mayele has attracted strong interest from Saudi Arabia, with two clubs reportedly tabling offers for the Congolese striker.
Reunion with Nabi on Hold?
Mayele has long been linked with a move to Kaizer Chiefs, where his former Yanga SC coach Nasreddine Nabi now manages. The pair enjoyed success together in Tanzania, winning back-to-back league titles (2021/22, 2022/23) before Mayele’s 2023 transfer to Pyramids.
The 29-year-old has continued his fine form in Egypt, netting nine goals in Pyramids’ historic 2024/25 CAF Champions League triumph—a campaign that has now put him on Saudi Arabia’s radar.
Saudi Pro League Clubs in the Race
According to Egyptian outlet Yallakora, Mayele has received concrete proposals from two Saudi clubs, with Al-Fateh SC emerging as the leading suitor. Negotiations are being handled by the player’s agent, though Pyramids’ demands could complicate the deal.
Despite returning to pre-season training with Pyramids, Mayele’s future remains uncertain as the transfer window progresses.
