Mfundo Thikazi and Justice Chabalala have resurfaced at Motsepe Foundation Championship side Casric Stars.

iDiski Times can confirm that Casric are assessing the duo after they both left Richards Bay and Gomora United, respectively.

Thikazi and Chabalala started training with the Betway Prem promotion chasers this morning with the hope that they can impress the technical team as free agents.

Thikazi played over 90 premiership games in his entire career scoring 12 goals and contributing with two assists while the experienced Chabalala played for the likes of Free State Stars, Orlando Pirates, Bloemfontein Celtic, Sekhukhune United and Chippa United.

Stars are currently sitting in second place with 30 points just three points behind league leaders Milford FC with 13 games still to play. They finished in the playoffs spot twice in the last three seasons and are now aiming to get automatic promotion to the elite league.
