Mamelodi Sundowns will be R10.3 million richer following a court ruling that ordered Pitso Mosimane and his agency MT Sports to pay back the money.
The three parties – Sundowns, Mosimane and MT Sports – had been involved in a long-drawn legal battle over compensation.
This stems from the agents’ fee MT Sports received when Mosimane committed himself to a new four-year deal with Sundowns in 2020.

Of course, Mosimane walked out on the very same contract a few months later as he left Sundowns for Egyptian giants Al Ahly.
And when that happened, the Brazilians attempted to recover the money but failed and later took the matter to court.
PITSO, MT SPORTS OWE SUNDOWNS R10.3 MILLION
Now, on Friday, South Gauteng High Court Judge Shaanaz Mia ruled that Mosimane and MT Sports pay back the agents’ fee with 7% annual interest from May 2021.
This means paying back R7.9 million plus four years of interest at 7% which amounts to R10.3 million.
Mosimane and MT Sports legal team, Mabuza Attorneys, have since announced their intentions to appeal the ruling.
