Seema On Mbokazi After US Move

Posted on January 30, 2026

Orlando Pirates centre-back Lebone Seema has described former teammate Mbekezeli Mbokazi as a very good person whose journey has served as motivation.

Seema arrived at Pirates at the start of the current season from TS Galaxy and quickly broke into the starting 11 often partnering with Mbokazi at the back. Mbokazi has since left and joined MLS side Chicago Fire now in January.

The 22-year-old Seema told the media on Wednesday that he wishes his former partner well in the US.

“Firstly, I want to say good luck to him,” said Seema.

“And for me it’s motivation to keep on working and try to focus on my game.

“He’s a very good person. He just wants to work hard; he’s just a good person.”
