Say goodbye to five more players?

Posted on August 1, 2025

Another five current Orlando Pirates players are facing probable exits.

Orlando Pirates have released almost a full team of players so far.

However, they are far from done with the process of trimming their squad under Abdeslam Ouaddou.

FIVE PIRATES STARS FACING LIKEY DEPARTURES

  • Goodman Mosele
  • Katlego Otladisa
  • Siphelo Baloni
  • Deivi Miguel Vieira (‘Gilberto’)
  • Relebohile Mofokeng

Mosele is set to be loaned out to PSL rivals, Chippa United.

“He’s not the only one from Pirates that will be loaned to Chippa, but I can tell you for sure that Goodman has been shipped to Chippa. I’m not sure what this means for his future going forward if he does well, because at 25, age is still on his side,” the report read on Phakaaati.

Interestingly, the report claims that he is not the only one. So, more Bucs stars could be joining Chippa.

Meanwhile, as reported on The South African, Otladisa, Vieira (‘Gilberto’) and Baloni are all likely heading out of Mayfair.

WHOLE TEAM WORTH OF EXITS, R31-MILLION FOR MOFOKENG

Meaning, the Bucs departure list will likely exceed a full starting XI worth of players.

Currently, 10 players have left Pirates. Meaning, if one or more of these stars leaves then the Bucs will have released more than a starting line-up worth of stars.

Furthermore, Pirates have reportedly agreed to sell Mofokeng.

“Relebohile Mofokeng, the South African Orlando Pirates player, is set to move to Al-Ettifaq after the two clubs agreed on terms,” KickOff reported.

They have reportedly tabled an offer in the region of R31-million for Mofokeng. However, these reports have not been confirmed by the Bucs yet.

WHICH OF THESE PLAYERS SHOULD STAY AT PIRATES? WHO SHOULD BE SOLD AND WHO SHOULD BE LOANED OUT?
