PSL club boss waiting for Kaizer Chiefs

Posted on September 8, 2025

Durban City are pressing hard to get their man, but Kaizer Chiefs are said to be dragging their heels.

At the centre of it all is striker Tashreeq Morris, with City keen to land him on a season-long loan.

Club chairman Farook Kadodia has now gone public, voicing frustration at Kaizer Chiefs’ silence. The deal is on the table, the interest is real, but the green light has yet to arrive.

KAIZER CHIEFS HOLDING TASHREEQ MORRIS DECISION

“Look, we had that interest, but there are some delays,” Durban City chairman Kadodia said. I don’t know what are the delays from Kaizer Chiefs.

“We expressed our interest to show that we want him, and we are looking for Chiefs to finalise, and we are waiting for Chiefs now. We have expressed our interest, and now the ball is in the court of Chiefs,” Kadodia added.

WHAT DECISION SHOULD AMAKHOSI TAKE?
