Premier League | New season kicks off tonight: Week 1 fixtures

The wait for the start of the 2024/2025 Premier League season to start in England is over!

Action got under way on Friday, 16 August when Manchester United edged Fulham 1-0 at Old Trafford in the day’s only match.

There were another six fixtures scheduled for Saturday, while two will take place on Sunday and one on Monday.

Manchester City are the league’s defending champions, while Ipswich, Southampton and Leicester City clinched promotion to the Premier League this season.
