Pirates vs Siwelele Starting XI Announced

Orlando Pirates have named their starting line-up for this afternoon’s Carling Knockout Round of 16 fixture against Siwelele FC at Orlando Stadium.

The Buccaneers continued their remarkable run of seven victories across all competitions with a 2-0 league win at home to TS Galaxy.

The tournament debutants on the other hand will be buoyed by their most recent result which was 1-0 victory at home to Bloemfontein rivals Marumo Gallants.

In the last meeting between the two sides, it took Oswin Appollis’ 80th minute winner to hand the Buccaneers all three points via a dramatic 1-0 victory.

Here’s how both sides square up:

Pirates Starting XI: Chaine, Seema, Mbokazi (c), Lebitso, Hotto, Nduli, Nemtajela, Mofokeng, Appollis, Moremi, Makgopa

Subs: Buthelezi, Sibisi, Ndaba, Mariko, Dansin, Mbule, Sebelebele, Maswanganyi, Mabasa

Siwelele Starting XI: Xulu, Mfolozi, Makhele, Khonyane, Baliti, Margeman, Moralo, Zwane, Potsane, Nurkovic, Saile.
