Pirates Starting XI Announced – iDiski Times

Posted on November 1, 2025

Orlando Pirates have announced their starting line-up for Betway Premiership against Mamelodi Sundowns at Loftus Versfeld Stadium this afternoon.

Pirates have a chance to level Sundowns’ points tally, currently sitting three behind the reigning champions with two games in hand.

The Sea Robbers come to this game after a narrow win against Magesi FC in the Carling Knockout Cup quarter-final which booked them a place in the semis.

Abdeslam Ouaddou has already led Pirates to their fourth consecutive MTN8 trophy and into the semis of CKC, with Pirates only having lost one of their last 15 games in all competitions.

Pirates already faced Sundowns this season and eliminated them from the MTN8 semi-final via penalties after the two semi-final fixtures ended in 1-1 draws – with Masandawana taking the lead in both before the Buccaneers found late equalisers.

Here is how they lineup

Pirates XI: Chaine, Seema, Mbokazi, Lebitso, Hotto, Nduli, Nemtajela, Dansin, Appollis, Moremi, Makgopa

Subs: Buthelezi, Sibisi, Ndaba, Van Rooyen, Mbatha, Maswanganyi, Mbule, Kwayiba, Mbuthuma
