Orlando Pirates striker bids emotional goodbye to SuperSport United

Orlando Pirates and Bafana Bafana striker Zakhele Lepasa has bid an emotional farewell to SuperSport United after his loan spell came to an end.

Lepasa netted twice in 10 matches for Matsatsantsa in a short stint at the club.

The 26-year-old is highly rated by Bafana Bafana coach Hugo Broos, who has expressed bewilderment that the goalscorer has consistently been overlooked by Orlando Pirates.

The Soweto-born marksman suggested he was reluctant to return to his loan club and appeared upset with the way he had been treated at the Sea Robbers in the past.

“This is one day I never looked forward to,” said Lepasa on Twitter.

“Having to officially say goodbye to what has become a home. I have spent so much time with great people that welcomed me and made it easy for me to play. I won’t forget the opportunity I was given.

“Thank you @SuperSportFC and Goodluc
