Orlando Pirates new coach: First signing confirmed

Orlando Pirates have a new coach and he has already signed his first new player.

Orlando Pirates are acting fast to recruit new players.

Bucs new head coach, Abdeslam Ouaddou has just made his first signing.

OUADDOU’S FIRST PIRATES SIGNING

Pirates coach Ouaddou has just signed outbound Mamelodi Sundowns star, Sipho Mbule.

He joins EIGHT other new players who have just signed for the Bucs.

Therefore, Pirates have already signed NINE new players. This includes Bafana Bafana stars Sinoxolo Kwayiba and Tshepang Moremi. As well as top talent from PSL rivals such as Sihle Nduli (Stellenbosch FC) and Mbule (Sundowns).

In contrast, Pirates have released FOUR players – Innocent Maela, Miguel Timm, Thabiso Monyane and Paseka Mako.

NEW BUCS COACH HAS HIS WORK CUT OUT FOR HIM

So, Ouaddou has his work cut out for him.

Not only does he have huge boots to fill but he also has some big player decisions to make. He replaced Riveiro who won five domestic cups with Pirates.

Meanwhile, he will play a big role in determinnig who stay’s and who goes. Additionally, he will determine how to include all of these new signings.

Finally, he will have to appoint a new Pirates captain.

Tapelo Xoki and Nkosinathi Sibisi are the favourites for this coveted Bucs honour.
