Kaizer Chiefs have announced the exit of winger Tebogo Potsane with immediate effect after two years with the club.
Potsane, 31, was out of favour and did not travel with the squad for pre-season in the Netherlands, after failing to establish himself in the first team.
Injuries and lack of game time contributed to his inevitable exit at the club, having featured 19 times with no goals and only two assists since they lured him to Naturena from Royal AM in 2023.
“As Kaizer Chiefs continue to prepare for the upcoming season, the Club and midfielder Tebogo Potsane have parted ways amicably. We thank him for his contributions and wish him all the best in the future,” the club statement read on social media.
Potsane started his career with Mangaung Utd before stints with Free State Stars, Bloemfontein Celtic and Royal AM, prior to his move to the Soweto giants.
