Ngezana Scores In Seven-Goal Thriller

Posted on December 12, 2025

Bafana Bafana defender Siyabonga Ngezana scored for FCSB in their seven-goal thrilling win against Dutch Eredivisie side Feyenoord in the Europa League on Thursday night.

A night full of goals in Bucharest saw Ngezana opening the scoring in the 11th minute to put FCSB in front.

Before this game, Ngezana left the pitch limping in the goalless draw against Dinamo Bucareşti and raised a bit of worry for the FCSB technical team but, after training for a few days, he was deemed match fit and started against Feyenoord.

Goals from Casper Tengstedt (41), Quinten Timber (44) and Leo Sauer in the 51st minute put the Dutch side in the driving seat, but the Red & Blues produced an exceptional comeback by overturning the 3–1 deficit to claim a remarkable 4-3 victory.

Ngezana was then hauled off in the 65th minute being replaced by veteran defender Vlad Chiricheş. The former Kaizer Chiefs defender is expected to join the Bafana Bafana camp this coming week as he played his last game last night.

FCSB managed to walk away with all three points, registering their second win in the Europa League and moved to 27th place.
