Kaizer Chiefs are looking at 25-year-old Asante Katoko and Guinea goalkeeper Mohamed Kamara. He stands at 1.94m tall.

“I was approached after our friendly match. They appreciated my performance, especially the four penalties saved,” said Camara.

The good news keeps coming. After a strong start to the season, Chiefs are still active in the transfer window, which only closes on 22 September. They’ve snapped up Lebohang Maboe, son of former Orlando Pirates forward Sidwell Maboe.

Kaizer Chiefs land sweet municipality deal

Polokwane Municipality’s Sports and Recreation Manager, Mantlako Sebaka, has defended the authority’s decision to lease Peter Mokaba Stadium to Kaizer Chiefs.  Amakhosi and the municipality have entered into a R16 million deal, seeing Chiefs bring six matches over the next two campaigns to the 45,000-seater stadium.
