Mamelodi Sundowns FC are set to part ways with one of their struggling first team stars for the upcoming season.

The abundance of quality at Chloorkop means not every talented player can play.

And such is the case for a player who joined the club just a year ago.

Mamelodi Sundowns winger set to leave

Kobamelo Kodisang looks set to leave Mamelodi Sundowns and head back to Europe!

According to the latest transfer reports, the 25-year-old winger is heading for the exit door at Chloorkop.

Kodisang joined Mamelodi Sundowns at the beginning of last season. He made just seven starts for the Brazilians last season. Kodisang scored two goals while assisting two more.

Now, reports suggest the speedy winger will be leaving the club in the coming days!

“With Kodisang seemingly not in the plans of Mamelodi Sundowns head coach Miguel Cardoso, FARPost has learnt that the former Bidvest Wits star will leave the league champions to explore options in Europe,” the publication reported.

“Kodisang is set to join an unnamed club in the Portugal top division for the 2025/26 season on loan.”
