Orlando Pirates winger Karim Kimvudi has expressed his excitement over his loan move to Israeli side FC Ashod.
Kimvuidi, 23, completed a loan move to the Israeli Premier League club after impressing in the Toto Cup for Ashdod this past weekend after a couple of days of training.
The club quickly secured his signature amid growing interest from other Israeli sides, with Kimvuidi penning a one-year deal with an option for it to become permanent after the season.
The player has expressed his excitement about the move and confirmed that he received a warm welcome by his new club.
“I’m happy and excited for the new challenge that awaits me,” he told his new club.
“I’ve already gotten to know the players, the staff and the management and I thank them for how they welcomed me here.
“I’m very confident in my ability to help the team and am already looking forward to the league getting underway.”
