Khanye Hails Chiefs Star In Thumping Win

Posted on November 8, 2025

iDiski TV analyst Junior Khanye has praised midfielder Mduduzi Shabalala for his performance in Kaizer Chiefs‘ 4-1 hiding of Orbit College.

Shabalala produced a Man of the Match performance scoring a brace and assisting one of the goals as Amakhosi moved up to second place before being replaced by Orlando Pirates as they are now tied on 22 points with top-placed Mamelodi Sundowns from 11 matches.

Khanye said Chiefs won in style and that Shabalala won them the game by playing his role.

“I think Mdu won Kaizer Chiefs the game,” said Khanye on iDiski TV.

“Number 10 decides the game. If you are number 10 you have to balance the game because you are the one, our thinker. So, a round of applause for Mdu he had character, he showed up consistently from the first whistle.

“Look at his decision-making in the last third, all Chiefs moves started with him and well done good first goal. He attacked the ball next to the post good finish. Well done to Kaizer Chiefs, seven goals in two games.

“They beat Simba with three now it’s Orbit with four. I think it’s very important to get these results, they won in style, and it brings confidence.”
