Manqoba Ozoemena is one of five talented Kaizer Chiefs players who could leave the club during the ongoing winter window.

Ozoemena is wanted by former Amakhosi boss Arthur Zwane at AmaZulu.

Mduduzi Shabalala might also be fighting for his future.

Ozoemena to headline Kaizer Chiefs exits?

According to local reports, Usuthu want to test Chiefs’ resolve to keep talented playmaker Manqoba Ozoemena. Samkelo Zwane is on the verge of leaving, while Mdu Shabalala is at a crossroads.

“It’s believed that the AmaZulu FC technical team has proposed to management about Manqoba (Ozoemena). Coach Arthur (Zwane) knows him very well, and he believes that the player can help the team this season as they compete in the MTN8 and the other tournaments as well,” said a source familiar with the negotiations.

Cafu deal dead in the water?

Thibang ‘Cafu’ Phete has dropped a strong hint that he’s ready to return home. Local outlet FARPost believe Sekhukhune are favourites to sign a man whose extensive experience includes stints in Portugal and the UAE. Phete has four caps for South Africa. Could Kaizer Motaung Junior and his colleagues have done more to convince the player to join their project?
