Kaizer Chiefs sign 12th new first-team player

Kaizer Chiefs have officially completed the acquisition of their 12th new first-team player!

The Glamour Boys are building a competitive squad to battle rivals Mamelodi Sundowns and Orlando Pirates.

Not only are Chiefs focusing on the present, but they also have one eye on the future!

The latest first-team new signing comes from their red-hot academy!

Kaizer Chiefs youngster signs professional contract

21-year-old Diski Challenge star Xolani Cossa has officially completed a move to the Amakhosi first-team.

Cossa has been a star defender for the club’s reserve side, and has since been rewarded with a senior contract.

His agency, Prosport International took to social media to confirm the deal on Monday morning.

Furthermore, the Kaizer Chiefs academy graduate will spend the season out on loan at Botswana side Black Lions FC.

The talented defender has been tipped for a big future at Naturena.

Kaizer Chiefs have a number of talented youngsters on their books. Xolani Cossa, Karabo Molefe, Aden McCarthy, Mduduzi Shabalala, Mfundo Vilakazi, Donay Jansen, Asanele Velebayi, Wandile Duba and Luke Baartman are all under the age of 23.
