Kaizer Chiefs new era – Full list: NINE new players

Kaizer Chiefs have been spotted with a total of eight new players in their training squad.

Kaizer Chiefs are set to jet off to Netherlands for their pre-season tour.

Interestingly, NINE new faces have been spotted in training with Amakhosi.

  • Paseka Mako
  • Thabiso Monyane
  • Asanele Velebayi
  • Nkosana Mbuthu
  • Thulani Mabaso
  • Manqoba Ozoemena
  • Naledi Hlongwane
  • Kabelo Nkgwesa

Outbound Mamelodi Sundowns striker, Ighodaro is now training with Chiefs.

Meanwhile, two departered Orlando Pirates players – Mako and Monyane are now training with Amakhosi.

Additionally, transfer target, Velebayi has is the other transfer target spotted with Chiefs.

However, these aren’t the players head coach Nasreddine Nabi wants. Here’s all the players Nabi wants to sign to Chiefs.

Chiefs have reportedly promoted FIVE players from their DDC side into the senior team.

So, Nkosana Mbuthu, Thulani Mabaso, Manqoba Ozoemena, Naledi Hlongwane and Kabelo Nkgwesa have all been promoted.

“For now all these five players have joined the first team and their visas for Holland will be applied for as they will apparently travel with the team because their promotion is believed to have been finalised and their contracts are also believed to have been already sorted. So, yeah, that’s what I can tell you about these five youngsters,” the insider told SoccerLaduma.

Therefore, they follow in the footsteps of the likes of Wandile Duba, Mduduzi Shabalala, Mfundo Vilakazi, Aden McCarthy and Samkelo Zwane. Furthermore, Karabo Molefe is another recently promoted star waiting to get his chance in goal for Chiefs.
